1. What is SpiceSaga? 

SpiceSaga is a mission to provide organically grown natural farming spices to provide healthy food globally. Handpicked spices expertly crafted and blended to provide the authentic taste as well as packed with all goodness of health of various cuisines. We deliver both within India and internationally, adhering to the regulations set forth by the Indian Government for spice exports.

2. What types of masalas do you sell?

SpiceSaga offers two categories of masalas: 

  • Whole Spices: Individual spices like turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, etc. 
  • Blended Spices: Popular blends like garam masala, chaat masala, biryani masala, chicken curry masala, pav bhaji masala, and more. 

 

3. Are your spices organic? 

All of our products are organically grown natural farming products under the monitoring of company experts and contract farmers. We are not organically certified but our products are free from harmful chemicals, pesticides, and additives. Our focus is on providing the natural farming products directly from farmers.

 

4. Do you use any preservatives in your spice blends? 

No, all our spice blends are 100% natural and free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. We prioritize purity and traditional methods of blending.

 

5. How are your spices sourced? 

Our spices are sourced directly from farms and cooperatives from across India, especially regions renowned for their spices. We aim to support local farmers while ensuring the highest quality standards for our customers.

 

Ordering and Shipping Information

 

6. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, SpiceSaga ships internationally! We comply with the export regulations set by the Indian Government, ensuring safe and timely delivery to our overseas customers.

 

7. What countries do you currently ship to? 

We currently ship to most countries worldwide. Please refer to our shipping section during the checkout process to check if your location is covered. For any special requests, feel free to contact us via email. 

 

8. How long does shipping take? 

  • Within India: 3-7 business days. 
  • International Orders: 15-20 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance. 

 

9. What are the shipping charges? 

Shipping charges vary based on the delivery location and the weight of your order. This will be calculated during the checkout process. For international orders, customs/duty charges (if applicable) will be borne by the customer. 

 

Packaging and Storage

 

10. How are your products packaged? 

Our products are  packed in food grade containers, vacuum-sealed to retain their freshness and aroma. Special care is taken to ensure the spices are moisture-proof and securely packed for transportation.

 

11. How should I store my masalas once I receive them? 

To retain the freshness, aroma, and taste of your spices, store them in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Prefer storing them in a cool and dry place.

 

12. How long do your spices last? 

Spices typically have a shelf life of 12-15 months, depending on the type. Whole spices last longer than grounded or blended spices. For the best flavor and aroma, we recommend using them within 12 months of purchase.

 

Payment and Refunds

 

13. What payment methods do you accept? 

We accept payment through all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, mobile wallets, and PayPal (for international customers).

 

14. Can I pay using foreign currency? 

Yes, we accept payments in multiple currencies via PayPal and international debit/credit cards. The currency conversion is automatically handled during checkout.

 

15. What is your cancellation and refund policy? 

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not been shipped yet. Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days for eligible requests. Please check our **Refund Policy** page for detailed guidelines.

Absolutely! SpiceSaga adheres to all Indian Government norms for spice exports, including FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) guidelines and APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) certification. This ensures the authenticity and legality of our products in both domestic and international markets.

 

17. Are your products tested for quality?

Yes, our spices undergo rigorous quality checks at every step, from sourcing to packaging. We adhere to quality standards set by Indian and international authorities to ensure safety and freshness.
